Game Day

Game time is here again. The lions from Trinity face off in a 1A district matchup against the JCS eagles. The Lions are looking to try and get hot at the right time, and the eagles are looking to get an upset tonight. The lions are trying to prove that the past does not define the team. It is about going 1-0 every game. The Lions have not had a dominant scorer every game, nor do they need one. Trinity has a defense that can send teams into panic, and they have a 5 in 5 out rotation. Any player from the bench or the starting five could have a great scoring night. On the other side of the floor, the eagles have struggled this season, but they have some good shooters that could get hot at the right time. It will be a great game to watch. Come out and see a Lion victory tonight tip off of the girls game is at 6:30.

GAME TIME

Game time is here again. The Adamsville Cardinals and Trinity Lions face off in the Cardinals nest. The cardinals will be trying to ride the high on being first place in the district after defeating Middleton last week. The Lions come in to this game with something to prove. The Lions have had a great last two seasons, but they have realized that the past is the past, and the only thing that can get them to there goal is right now. The lions have got a deep bench as always, and there starters tend to start off strong, but they thrive off of there lock down defense. The Lions are looking to put 4 quarters together for tonight's games. The Lions and the Cardinals have created something of a rivalry between the two schools. Football and Basketball has made these two teams become very competitive when they meet and play one another. Come out and watch the Lions and Cardinals play. Tip off for the girls will be at 6:00 with the guys following!
Go Lions!

Slavery is still alive

Many people in the United States believe that slavery is something of the past. The harsh fact of the world today is that it still is alive, and there are to many people in the world being affected by it. The "END IT" movement is something that has been started to raise awareness of sex trafficking going on throughout the world. CNN wrote an article on the Passion conference, and they talked about how more than 42,000 college students come together in one place and worship God. The college students come together, and they worship for a weekend all in one place. They also raise money to help save money women from sex trafficking, and they help men who are caught in slavery over seas. CNN said "They came together from 56 countries and 2,300 universities, according to organizers, “to shine a light on modern-day slavery.” I look forward to hopefully go one day and experience the Passion Conference for myself.  This a fact that CNN gave in the article "The United Nations estimates 27 million people are entrapped in modern-day slavery at any given time around the world in a market valued at $32 billion." Slavery is alive and real, and it is Christians job to share the light of Christ with others, but it is also to help those who can not help themselves.
